The EMBS (European Management and Business Sciences Consortium) network was created in 1989 by a group of 6 European Universities. Over the past 27 years, the network has steadily expanded to a total 8 active member institutions.
In July 2016 the consortium decided to update its image with a new name and logo "ENBS" (European Network of Business Schools) in alignment with the demands of higher education and the business world today. The Network's original aim was provide an integrated business study program for the most outstanding students from each of the member institutions, offering a program of studies geared to preparing a new generation of managers with the necessary skills to adapt to the growing influence of the European Union on the management of operations in and outside Europe. Students enrolled in the program will develop a high degree of knowledge in business activities taking place within the context of a common European historical, cultural and social background and within an institutional framework.
